Breastfeeding Support
We are now offering a variety of Breastfeeding education and support options. Classes will now be offered at A Mother’s Boutique in Wexford. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings on the 2nd and 3rd Thursday’s of the month from 5:30-7:30 pm. Basics of Breastfeeding the 2nd Thursday and Breastfeeding and the Working Mother on the 3rd Thursday. A discount will be offered if you are planning to take both classes. - Basics of Breastfeeding - A pre-natal class that provides a solid foundation for the new breastfeeding mother. Covers latch and positioning, building your supply, benefits of breastfeeding and more.
- Breastfeeding and the Working Mother - Information to help the working mother maintain her sanity and her milk supply. Covers maintaining a milk supply, storage and handling of breast milk, what your child’s care provider needs to know and more.
- Post Partum Breastfeeding Counseling - If you are encountering difficulties with breastfeeding Amy is available to assist you and to make referrals to the proper providers for more complex problems. Most problems that women encounter that cause them to stop breastfeeding are ones that have an easy fix if they receive the right assistance.
